Onboard Safety
1.What safety equipment is provided on board?
All our boats are fitted with the safety equipment required by Greek regulations:
lifejackets for adults and children, a first-aid kit, life rings, fire-fighting equipment and
navigation charts. In the case of hire without a licence, this equipment will be shown to
you on board during the post-departure lesson.
2.Are there safety instructions given before departure?
Before you set off on your tour with our self drive boats, we will give you a
comprehensive lesson on how to use our speedboats. This lesson includes a section on
safety instructions and the equipment available on board in the event of an emergency.
We'll always be on hand to answer any questions you may have during this lesson, so
that you feel as comfortable as possible during your cruise
2.a What should I do in case of an emergency at sea?
First of all you must call directly the lessors number in case of an emergency. If the
number of the lessor is not responding the international number you can call in case of
emergency at sea is 112. This number is recognized in most countries and will connect
you to the appropriate emergency services, such as the coast guard. If you are in an
emergency situation at sea, it is important to stay calm and provide as much information
as possible to the operator, including your location, the nature of the emergency, and the
number of people involved.
3.Are the captains certified and trained in first aid (for tours with a captain)?
All our skippers certified and fully trained on first aids so you feel extra safe on board in
case of any emergency.
Navigation Conditions
14.What should I do in case of bad weather?
If you are on the sea and the waves get big you should reach the nearest harbor from
your location which we would already have informed you. From there we will be able to
help you or transport you back from land back to your accomodation.
15.What are the risks related to navigation conditions?
There are no risks if you listen carefully to your lessor prior to your departure. We will
never allow you to depart in case of severe weather conditions.
Navigation and Spots to Visit
6.What are the best spots to visit around Zakynthos?
The island's best-known spot is Shipwreck beach, otherwise known as Navagio. But our
island is also full of other treasures: the blue caves, the Keri caves, Turtle island, Cameo
island, Xygia beach, Mizithres Rock, Poseidon face, Agalas Caves, Cave of love and
many more that our captains will be delighted to show you during your trip.
7.Are there any restrictions on navigation areas?
The only area which is restricted is the west coast of the island due to rock falling.
8.What is the average sailing time to reach the main spots (e.g., Turtle Island, Shipwreck Beach)?
It will take you approximatelly 60 minutes to reach sjipwreck beach from our port and
around 70 minutes to reach the turtle isalnd.
9.Do you provide navigation maps?
The boats are fully equipped with Navigation maps in english language.

10.Does the captain know the best places to visit (for tours with a captain)?
Our proffesioanall skippers are born and raised in Zakynthos island therefore the know
the most beautifull places around so you can enjoy your swimming in privacy or with
less crowds.
11.Can we see turtles during the trip?
The turtles are located in the south part of the island however recently they are tending
more and more to show on the east coast of the island. The only possible and
guaranteed way to see a turtles is only with a proffesionall skipper on board. the most beautifull places around so you can enjoy your swimming in privacy or with

12.Can we go ashore at Shipwreck Beach?
At Shipwreck beach is prohibited to swimm or anchor the speedboat due to rock falling,
however you can reach the beach from a distance of 20 meters and take pictures or
take a break on board
13.What is the best time of day for sailing?
Best time for sailing is always in the morning where the waves are usually calm.
Cost and Payment
17.How is the fuel price calculated, and how can I know how much I’ve spent (for tours without a captain)?
All our speedboats have fuel meters on board therefore you will always know how much
fuel you have spend during your trip.At the end of your trip after the lessor inspecting the
boat he will inform you regarding the usage of fuel.
18.What payment methods are accepted?
Cash, card , pay pal , revolut , bank transfer.
19.Do I need to pay in advance to book?
A deposit of 30% is required to confirm a booking for any of our speedboats.
20.Are there any additional fees to consider?
There are no adittional fees except the Fuel.
Condition of the Boats
26.Are the boats inspected regularly?
The speedboats are inspected regularry rom the lessor everyday at the end of every trip
. You will be advised to tale pictures of the boat prior to your departure.
27.What should I do in case of a mechanical problem with the boat?
You shoul switch of the engine in case of any indicator on your screen lights and call us immediatelly to guide you.
30.Do you provide towels and drinks (for tours with a captain)?
Towels, refreshments are included on all our cruises.
31.Do you provide a cooler with ice?
A cool box with ice will be provided on board.
32.Do you provide snorkeling equipment?
Snorkelling equipment are provided on each boat.
Children on Board
21.Are there any restrictions for children on board?
If there are infants on board they must be sitted on their parents laps. Children and infants must always wear life vests. For adults life vests are not mandatory.
22.Do you provide life jackets for children?
We provide life jackets for babies, children up to 3 years old, teenagers up to 14 and for
adults
23.Is it suitable to bring children on board?
It is tottally safe. All our speedboats are fully equipped and very stady on the waves so
you can have a safe navigation.
Onboard Amenities
34.Are there toilets on board?
Our speedboats do not provide toilet use however all our yacht have toilet amenties.
35.Is it possible to dine on board or nearby?
Yes, food on board or on the beach is allowed.
36.Is there a freshwater shower on board (for tours with a captain)?
Fresh water shower is only avaliable on our speedboats with skipper and not our self
drive boats
37.Are there storage spaces on board?
Eachg boat have its own unique water proof storage space.

You casn book directly online through our automatic booking system or you can reach
our office In tsilivi to complete the nooking in person.
39.Can I book in advance?
Yes, we always advise booking online to secure availability.
40.What is the procedure for picking up the boat on the day of the reservation?
Please arrive in a timely manner in order for you to have an on-time departure. You will receive a 30-minute instruction lesson taught by an experienced captain before your departure. You must adhere to all his/her instructions. A form of ID must be shown to complete the rental contract.
Accessibility
41.How can I find you after making a reservation?
Our port is locates at kavos psarou port.
42.Where is the port located on the island?
Our port is located at the east coast of the island. It is a 10 minutes drive from tsilivi or
alykanas and a 20 minutes drive from zakynthos town.
43.Do you offer transport to the port?
Transportation is provided only for cruises with skipper.
44.In which areas do you offer free transport (for tours with a captain)?
Free transportation is provided only from zakynthos town, tsilivi , tragaki or psarou area.
45.How can I get to the port from my accommodation?
We advise renting a car or hiring a taxi. Public transports are not to be trusted with the
times.

Yes, music is allowed on board. All our boats are equipped with a bluetooth stereo system.
47.Can I consume alcohol on board?
Alcohol is allowed on board however the skipper must not consume any. It is prohibited.
48.Are there restrictions on what I can bring on board?
There are no restrictions.
Insurance Onboard
49.Is there insurance in case of problems or damages?
We provide a third-party liability insurance which is a type of coverage that financially protects you if you're considered responsible for damages or injury to another person or their property. This type of coverage is available for both home,boat and car
insurance. If you make damage on the speedboat you are driving you are fully
responsible for the damages
50. do you need experience to self drive a speedboat.
No. Our boats are safe and designed so that any adult can handle them, even without
prior experience. If you listen carefully to your lessor you will have no problems navigating the boat.
51.What is the minimum safe distance from other boats?
The minimum distance that should be kept from other boats, buoys, signage, etc., is 50 metres.
